Retro Warehouse offers a curated shopping experience where vintage modern style meets the aesthetic of the present. We specialize in a hand-picked selection of vintage, modern and mid century furniture, art and decor designed to bring character and style to everyday living spaces. From iconic mid century design to more contemporary classic pieces, our aim is to offer up a broad selection of modern decor that is “home ready”. We carefully assess all of our pieces before they hit the showroom floor to assure they meet our quality standard. If needed, we refinish and reupholster our furniture so that they are all ready for their new lives in your home! We offer our customers a sustainable, soulful alternative to fast furniture in our relaxed, friendly and light-filled 2,000sf store. About the Owner:

Retro Warehouse was born from the vision and passion of owner Cheryl Andonian, who has decades of experience in the vintage furniture, art and design business. She brings her modern creative aesthetic to each piece she hand picks for the store. 

It all started in 1994 buying and selling vintage goods and expanded in 1997 with the launch of her first store, Retro Planet in Newburyport, MA. Fast forward through years of selling online and in-person in the metro Boston area, which has now culminated with the opening Retro Warehouse, her stand-alone 2,000sf showroom in Newbury, MA in February 2026. 

Cheryl has a keen eye and knowledge of design with an instinctive ability for finding gems in the wild. She is a natural for seeing the potential in the objects she discovers and truly finds joy and pride in connecting customers with the perfect piece for their home.
